The one thing

The ONE thing you need to be clear about in order to be successful on your fitness journey:

In order to achieve your fitness and health goal or any other goal in your life, you will need determination and consistency even on those days when you have NO MOTIVATION.

But how will you keep going if you have no motivation?

Take out a sheet of paper and answer those questions (please actually do this, it’ll change your perspective and potentially your whole life):

• First of all, what is your goal?
• Why do you want to achieve it, why is it important to you?
• For what do you get up every morning? Why do you do what you do every day?
• What excites you, what sets your soul on fire, what makes your heart beat fast?
• For what would you put yourself through pain? Why do you keep pushing yourself in difficult times?

When you have answered all those questions, look for a common theme. Find out what all of your answers have in common and what connects them. The moment you have found this connection, you have found your WHY. And knowing your WHY and reminding yourself of it over and over again will keep you going, even on the darkest and most difficult days.

Many people live their life without knowing WHY they are living it this way. They rather let life happen to them, instead of living their life with a purpose. But only when you start living your life with purpose, you’ll find fulfillment in the things you do.

I believe that everyone has a WHY. Your WHY is your purpose, it’s what inspires you, it’s what keeps you going, it’s what makes you push through difficult times. It’s one of life’s greatest gifts to wake up in the morning – every morning – with a clear vision of why that day matters – why every day matters. And this is exactly what it means to find your WHY.

I believe that we all have the power to live up to our potential & create the life we truly deserve. When you discover your WHY, you’re able to find the clarity & confidence you need to make decisions that move you forward, may it be in your career, relationships or health.

Do you want to wake up inspired to work and tackle everything that day brings to you? Are you fulfilled at the end of each day? If your answer is no, reconsider your WHY. Create a vision for your life that makes you jump out of bed every morning!

Knowing your WHY helps you to create the determination, perseverance, commitment and dedication you need in order to reach your goals and succeed in life. Find it and you’ll never quit!
