4 steps to live up to your true potential

Are you scared of not living up to your true potential?

Do you want to make a difference in this world but don’t know how?

Do you want to ensure you’re living your life as your best self?

There are 4 main things that you can do NOW to ensure you start living up to your full potential and make this world a better place by being your most authentic, true self:

1. Write down your goals. Don’t let anybody else tell you what your goals should be or have to look like. Those are YOUR goals, because this is YOUR life. Goals keep you focused and writing them down keeps you on track. Make sure you are crystal clear about your vision and the goals you want to achieve. How would you feel if you had already achieved those goals? Start visualizing your goals today.

2. Choose things out of reach, dream big. Don’t just think about what is “realistic”. The problem with realistic thinking is that it’s usually based on what other people think is possible or on what we were taught is achievable. But here’s the thing: Other people don’t know how BIG your potential is. And most likely, you don’t know how limitless your potential is either. As human beings, we often underestimate our own potential. Pick goals that scare the heck out of you. Don’t limit yourself. Because you CAN achieve anything you set your mind to.

3. Take massive action. Be obsessed with reaching your goals. Take massive action every single day. Stay focused and during difficult times, remind yourself of your WHY and KEEP GOING. Do the things that scare you until one day they no longer feel scary. Push yourself out of your comfort zone, this is the only place where you will grow. When people ask you: “Why are you still working?” “Why do you not take a break?” “You never quit, do you?” remind yourself of the fact that big goals require big actions. And without big goals you won’t live up to your true potential.

4. Stay persistent. How do you require a new skill? You practice again and again and again. Rome wasn’t built in a day. The ability to persist on your path regardless of road blocks, setbacks, unexpected events. Resistance is a trait you will have to acquire when you want to succeed. Reaching your potential requires you to be persistent, there is no room for excuses, blaming, judging, limiting beliefs or quitting.

You won’t reach your full potential by staying where you are. You will need to increase your knowledge, learn new skills, train and invest in yourself. Be proactive, take action and be consistent to ensure you are living your fullest life, serving others with intention and making this world a better place by being 100% YOU.

Much love,

Lea
